Menopause is a key workplace issue. It’s an equality issue and a health and safety issue. It impacts all women at some point in their lives, often at the height of their careers.

About Us

Let’s talk about the "change" at work.

Groundbreaking human resource education for the modern workplace.

The Menopause Education Center was established in 2020 when our founder Rachel Anne began her own perimenopause journey, looking to the internet for information but finding it overwhelming, confusing, disjointed, and at times simply inaccurate. She knew she must not be the only one struggling to find accurate, reliable, and organized help for navigating menopause, designed around contemporary women in their 40s and 50s. So she set to work assembling a team of experts, educators, and therapists to solve the problem.

But she didn’t stop there. Rachel Anne realized that menopause is not just a personal experience; it is also an organizational issue. With the increasing number of women in the workforce, it is crucial for employers to address the specific needs and concerns of this demographic. This was the genesis of Menopause Training for the Modern Workplace.

We also understand that supporting menopause in the workplace doesn’t just benefit the women working for your organization, but also the men who may have loved ones or family members suffering through menopause. The troubles experienced at home can often interfere with their productivity and ability to perform their best at work. To address this, we offer a specialized masterclass for men, designed to help them become better partners to the women at home.

Our masterclass for men provides valuable insights, practical tips, and resources to help men navigate and understand the challenges their loved ones may face during menopause. By equipping them with knowledge and empathy, they can provide the necessary support and create a more harmonious home environment. We believe that caring about your employees’ home life not only boosts loyalty and employee retention, but also enhances overall satisfaction and well-being.

Our platform is dedicated to empowering HR professionals and managers in supporting women navigating the transformative journey of menopause in the workplace. We understand the unique challenges and opportunities that arise during this stage of life, and our mission is to create a supportive and inclusive work environment for menopausal women. Our comprehensive resources, educational tools, and expert guidance are specifically tailored to help the HR professionals and managers of your organization navigate this complex topic with confidence and empathy.

We firmly believe that by fostering an environment where menopause is understood, acknowledged, and supported, organizations can unlock the full potential of their female (and male!) workforce. Our team of experienced professionals is dedicated to equipping you with the knowledge and skills needed to create a menopause-friendly workplace, resulting in increased employee satisfaction, retention, and overall productivity. Together, we can create a future where menopause is understood, supported, and celebrated.

The conversation everyone should be having at work about women's health.

For women experiencing symptoms of menopause, it can bring great relief to know they have the support of their employer. To help you rise to the occasion, we’ve developed a comprehensive training program that can set your company up for success.

“What can employers do? Based on my experiences, it starts with talking. If you are a leader going through menopause, try to normalize your challenges, so that other women can feel empowered to speak in the future. Just saying something like, “I’m going through menopause, and I keep forgetting things!” shows others this is something that is okay to talk about. Dialogue costs nothing, but reaps big rewards.”

There are thousands of working, menopausal women suffering in silence.
"We can do better in the modern American workplace."

CREATING CONFIDENCE

Menopause symptoms are nothing to be ashamed of. A menopause-friendly workplace gives women the confidence to discuss what they’re experiencing and ask for support should they need it. Easy to implement HR policies make it possible.

BUILDING UNDERSTANDING

Our goal is for everyone to understand what menopause is so that an open dialogue can be established. It isn’t just an issue for women. Men must be aware too so that they can support their female family, friends, and colleagues.

AFFECT REAL CHANGE

Recognizing menopause in the workplace leads to tangible cultural and financial benefits. Our professional training materials are written by experts in their fields and designed for all genders. The "change" is coming. Is your company ready?

MENOPAUSE DOES NOT TAKE TIME OFF

Women at work often hide their symptoms from their co-workers. Since there is no "Oh, let's not be in menopause today" button or magic pill, having an HR policy for this women's health initiative is smart business.

Improve the overall health of your business.

The time has come to break the silence and facilitate practical changes that address menopause in the workplace. Employers have learned that supporting an employee’s mental, physical, and financial well-being is good for the bottom line. The care and well-being of their workforce positively impacts company reputation, workforce retention, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) compliance, along with many other benefits.
